Vitamin C in skincare
Vitamin C:
Is an antioxidant
Mostly used for its brightening effect(gives the skin a nice glow! especially when paired with sunscreen)
is a naturally occurring chemical found in citrus fruits such as lemons and oranges (and many other fruits too), carrots, etc
reduces skin dullness by neutralising free radicals
reduces Hyperpigmentation by inhibiting tyrosinase activity( tyrosinase inhibitor)
is a gentle way to treat hyperpigmentation
How to use Vitamin C in your skincare routine:
Vitamin can be applied at any time of the day
Vitamin C degrades in sunlight. Applying sunscreen helps reduce the vitamin C degradation
